Oumar Niasse Baye playing for Locomotiv Moscow

Chelsea FC is expected to make a bid for the 25-year-old Senegal international Oumar Niasse Baye who plays for Russian outfit Locomotif Moscow, according to reports.

The Blues’ interim manager,Guus Hidink needs to bolster his attack and securing the services of Niasse to ease the pressure on Diego Costa will seem to be a good business.

Oumar Niasse, 25, is now enjoying a fine form at Russia being able to grab some cool 12 goals and 10 assist for Locomotif Moscow in some 21 appearances having been voted as the the best player in the Russia Premiership in 2015.
He is second joint to top scorer in the Russian Premier League.

Locomotiv Moscow has turned down bids from Bayern Levakusen and Monaco for Niasse.

Niasse began his career with Ouakam in Senegal and moved to Brann in Norway, he continued his trade at Akhisar Belediyespor in Turkey in 2013. He scored 15 goals in all competitions for the club after his only one season spell. Lokomotiv then paid €5.5m (£4m) to sign him.

It is understood that the £15m pound rated talisman will be looking forward to move to England on personal and professional grounds as his wife is based in Manchester.

The defending champions will need his services as Diego Costa is now the only available option upfront with Loic Remy and Falcao struggling with their form.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Premiership rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs have scouted this player extensively over the first half of the season and hoping to get his signature, according to The Guardian
